Josh SabinJoshua D. Sabin serves as the Iowa Northern Railway Company’s Director of Administration based in Cedar Rapids. Joshua manages the company’s corporate operations, the railroad's government and public affairs, as well as Iowa Northern’s special projects and strategic initiatives. He is also responsible for the company's charitable giving and fundraising efforts. Additionally, Joshua oversees the railroad’s Hawkeye Express passenger operations, primarily used each fall to transport fans to and from Kinnick Stadium for University of Iowa home football games.

Prior to the Iowa Northern, Joshua acted as Amtrak’s Senior Government Affairs Officer based in Washington, DC and Chicago. He was responsible for much of the day-to-day interaction between Amtrak and state and local officials, governors, and federal representatives, particularly in the Midwest with the railroad’s state contract partners as well as special projects. Joshua also has experience working as Press Secretary and Legislative Assistant for Transportation in the office of former Michigan Congressman Nick Smith and as Staff Assistant to former Michigan Governor John Engler.

Joshua serves on the boards of the Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and Johnson County Empowerment. He has also worked on various task forces for the City of North Liberty. A native of Northville, Michigan, he is a graduate of Michigan State University and resides in North Liberty with his wife Kelly, daughter Ashley, and son Grant. Joshua and his family are members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Iowa City.
