Laura Vint is the Iowa Northern Railway Company's Controller based in Cedar Rapids. Laura is responsible for the overall financial management and accounting of the company and serves as a senior advisor to the management on the railroad´s strategic initiatives. Prior to coming to Iowa Northern, Laura served as Chief Financial Officer for Four Oaks of Iowa and has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience. She is a graduate of Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. Laura and her two children live in Cedar Rapids where she is active in numerous community activities including, serving as a Director of the Cedar Rapids Community School District Foundation, a member of Cedar Rapids Rotary West, a Co-Founder & Advisor to the Washington High School Rotary Interact Club, and as an Advisor to the Boys & Girls Club of Cedar Rapids. Laura is also a 2001 graduate of the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce Leadership for Five Seasons program.
